At Servixo, accessible from the Servixo Android application and theservixo.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors and users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Servixo and how we use it.

To provide our on-demand local services and ensure a smooth user experience, we collect:

  • Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, and account credentials when you register, book a service, or sign up as a partner.
  • Location Data:
    • Coarse & Fine Location: With your explicit permission, we access your device’s GPS/location data to automatically detect your neighborhood/neighborhood area (e.g., in Darbhanga) and show available services nearest to you.
  • Device & Notification Info: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) registration tokens to send you real-time booking updates, service statuses, and support notifications.
  • Interaction Data: Direct messages and chat queries when you use our WhatsApp widget or embedded booking forms.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for various purposes, including to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Servixo App.
  • Detect and suggest the nearest local service providers based on your current location.
  • Process bookings, register partners, and handle client inquiries.
  • Send push notifications regarding booking confirmations, service progress, or updates.
  • Communicate with you directly or through our partner platforms (like WhatsApp live support and online appointment booking forms).
  • Understand and analyze how you use our app to improve and personalize your experience.

3. Third-Party Integrations & Services

Servixo integrates with trusted third-party SDKs and service providers to enhance functionality:

  • Google Firebase SDK: Used for user authentication (Sign-in), cloud database syncing, and push notifications (FCM).
  • WhatsApp API: Used to facilitate direct, secure customer support and booking assistance.
  • JotForm & External Booking Sites: External forms used to collect detailed booking details and coordinates securely.
  • Maps & Geocoding APIs: Used to translate GPS coordinates to readable neighborhood locations.

4. Location Permission & Tracking

  • Why we need it: The app requests ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION permissions solely to automate location picking during booking.
  • Control: You can grant, deny, or revoke location access at any time through your Android device settings. The app will still function, but you may need to enter your location/address details manually.

5. Data Security & Storage

We implement industry-standard security measures to safeguard your personal details. Booking records and user details are securely stored using Android Room Database (local offline storage) and securely synchronized with Firebase Cloud databases. We do not sell or trade your personal data to third parties.

6. Children’s Privacy

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. Servixo does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our app, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately, and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
